We meet on the 2nd Friday of each month from September through May at 1:00 PM at the Bryant Square Park Building at 3101 Bryant Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55408. Anyone can attend our regular monthly meetings without charge. Each monthly program is an invited speaker on birds, bird habitat or conservation from all parts of the world. The public is invited and the atmosphere at our meetings is open and welcoming.
Photographing Dragonflies for Fun and Profit — well, mostly Fun
Minneapolis Audubon Society will meet on Friday, October 9th at 1:00pm at the Bryant Square Park building, 3101 Bryant Ave. South.
John Arthur will show his photographs of dragonflies and damselflies and share his field experiences since 1998. In 2006, he joined the Minnesota Odonata Survey Project, a survey of the state’s dragonflies and damselflies that lasted until 2012. In 2012, he helped start Minnesota Dragonfly Society and is still active with the society.
